FREQUENTLY ASKED VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT & RESERVATION QUESTIONS

RESERVATIONS: Saltwater Suites is managed by BlueStar Real Estate, a local Commercial and Residential Real Estate Company. Rental payments are processed by Ascent.

PAYMENTS: Payments. At the time of your booking, you will be charged 1/2 of the cost of your stay (including all fees and tax). The remaining 2nd 1/2 will be automatically scheduled to be charged to the same payment method 24hrs before your check-in. If you purchase Travel Insurance through our Website, the full amount of the Travel Insurance cost will be due at the time of booking and included in your first payment. In addition, on the day of your arrival, you will see $250 security deposit authorization hold placed on the card. This is not a charge, it is an “authorization hold” that will be automatically released one day after you check-out.

E-SIGN REQUIREMENT: Once you book your reservation online, you will receive an email with a link to complete and sign the required Vacation Rental Agreement. If your reservation is for a same day check-in, please note that completion of the Rental Agreement is required prior to your arrival at the property in order for your keyless access code to be activated for check-in.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation policies may vary for group room block reservations and reservations made through external booking platforms (ie. Expedia, Airbnb, etc.) 

If you cancel your reservation greater than or equal to 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in, you will receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee as indicated in our policies at the time of your booking. ($74 for a Standard Suite, $148 for a Double Adjacent Suite, and $199 for a Triple/Trio Adjacent Suite)

If you cancel your reservation 14 to 29 days prior to check-in, you will be responsible for 50% of the reservation cost (the full amount of your first payment or half of the total reservation cost whichever is greater)

If you cancel your reservation less than or equal to 13 days prior to your scheduled check-in, you will be responsible for the full cost of the reservation, including your final payment normally scheduled to be charged to your payment method on file the day prior to check-in. If canceling a reservation where the final payment is still due, the payment will be processed on the day of cancellation. This cancellation policy applies to reservations booked directly through the website or by phone. 

Cancellation Fees: $74.00 for standard units, $148.00 for adjacent double units, and $199.00 for adjacent triple units. Please note that the cancellation fee is not an additional fee added to your booking, it is a fee that will be retained if the reservation is canceled.

TRAVEL INSURANCE. Travel protection has been made available with your reservation. The Plan includes coverage for the loss of your prepaid, non-refundable trip costs if your trip is canceled or interrupted due to certain unforeseeable events. We offer travel protection as a way for you to help protect yourself and your trip investment. Outstanding reservation costs are not eligible for reimbursement at the time of cancellation and the cost of the Plan is not eligible for a full refund outside of the Plan’s free look period. The plan cost includes the travel insurance premium and assistance services fee. Travel insurance coverages are underwritten by: Generali U.S. Branch, New York, NY; NAIC # 11231, for the operating name used in certain states, and other important information about the Travel Insurance & Assistance Services Plan, please see link to Important Disclosures.

GUEST CONTACT INFORMATION: Please be sure you provide BlueStar Real Estate your direct phone number and email address where we can reach you both prior to and during your stay.

WHAT WE PROVIDE: What we provide. We provide bedding/bed linens, bath towels, hairdryer, kitchen cooking essentials (dishes, silverware, cookware, toaster, keurig coffee maker), and a single/travel size supply of k-cups and condiments, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, trash bags, and shampoo/conditioner/bath soap/lotion. Irons are also available upon request.

SMOKING: Smoking & Vaping. This is a smoke free property inside and out. If smoking occurs during your stay a $500 unauthorized smoking fee will be billed to your account. If smoking occurs and you cause a fire alarm to go off, additional fees may be billed to your account.

PETS: Other than the four suites designated as pet friendly (Suites 103, 104, 105, and 201), this is a pet free property. Any pet staying at the property must not be left unaccompanied in a suite, and must be on a leash at all times while on the property.  In our Pet Friendly Suites if you are bringing a 2nd Pet, there will be a $50 fee for the second pet. You are required to notify our office if you are bringing a second pet by checking the box and paying the fee at check-out on our website, or contacting our office prior to arrival. Depending on your booking platform this may be paid at the time of your booking or prior to your arrival. There is a two pet maximum; however, we will consider special requests for additional pets on a case by case basis. 

UNAUTHORIZED PETS: If you are not staying in one of our four pet friendly suites and you have not notified us that you will be bringing a Service Animal and you have a pet in your suite during your stay, a $500 unauthorized pet fee will be billed to your account.

PARKING: Parking is limited to one vehicle per suite on the property. No trailers or recreational vehicles are allowed.When you arrive, your vehicle parking pass for parking in our parking lot will be waiting for you in your suite. Please be sure to fill out all information on the pass and hang it on your rear view mirror at all times while parked in our parking lot to avoid being towed. We have limited parking spaces so we cannot accommodate more than one vehicle parking pass per suite at this time. If you need parking for additional vehicles, we offer a limited number of 2nd vehicle parking passes at a fee of $25 per night (plus tax). No recreational vehicles or trailers are allowed to be parked in our parking lot.

EV VEHICLE CHARGING: We have 4 EV Charging Parking Passes which you can purchase daily or for your entire stay.  Please note that these parking spaces are located under the building and they are for compact vehicles only.  If you have a large EV Truck, please contact our office to confirm charging options.  In order to use our charging stations PRIOR TO CONNECTING YOUR VEHICLE you are REQUIRED to sign our Liability Waiver & Charging Stations Agreement and Instructions. To initiate EV charging for guests with a paid EV parking/charging pass, be sure to park in the correct charging space and hang your ev parking/charging pass on your rear view mirror. Follow the instructions for use posted next to your EV Charging device carefully. Guests will be held responsible and liable for any damage to equipment or property during use. Any damage fees will billed to your Guest Account.

CHECK-IN. Check in is simple and contactless: You can check in anytime after 4 PM on your check-in date. You will receive a keyless entry smart lock code which you will use to access your suite at check-in. Our office is nearby, but we do not have an office on site so please call or email us with any questions you may have. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate early check-in requests during the months of April through September. Please DO NOT attempt to use your keyless access code prior to 4pm because it will cause the lock to send out a Tamper Alert and your code will be deactivated. If your code is deactivated because you attempted to enter your suite prior to your check-in time a $50 code reset fee will be billed to your account.

CHECK-OUT. Check-out is by 10 AM and it’s simple and contactless. Upon booking, you will receive an email with instructions and a code you can enter into your keyless access smart lock which will notify us when you have checked-out of your suite.
